Stopped in at the Z Bar within the Peninsula Chicago to grab drinks and pick up some takeout dessert. You need to take an elevator to get up here once at the hotel. The service was fantastic, the drinks were great, and the dessert was outstanding! We couldn't recommend Z Bar highly enough for a sophisticated night out.

The cocktails are excellent, and I really appreciated the personalized service from the bartender, who crafted a custom mocktail just for me, and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back for a night out with friends.
We have found a spot at the bar after a bit of wait. They told us the wait time for a table for 2 is 25 minutes, which is still okay on a Saturday night. The bartender was amazing, friendly, and provided quality service. I had mimosa, and my friend tried one of their signature drink. We also ordered seasonal sliders. If you're looking for a small bite, the sliders are perfect in size and delicious. Prices are higher than some of the other rooftop bars. But I still think it's worth trying.
The food was absolutely delicious! I'm not a big fan myself of oysters, but these ones were amazing! The waiting time for a table was relatively short since we went there on st Patrick's day. Lots of fun and had a good Aperol while enjoying the night's city views. I will go back again whenever I am around Chicago!
This place had all the makings to be too pricy for what you get but that was an awful assumption. All the food, drink and staff are top notch and worth the price for this elevated paradise in the sky. View is solid as well.
Hello everyone! Thank you for reading my reviews! I visited this bar late in the evening, around midnight. The kitchen was no longer working at that time and we were drinking cocktails and beer. This is a very atmospheric and beautiful place. The design is fantastic, beautiful and chic. If you like glamour, then it was born here! I recommend visiting! You will like it!
Having spent a long day shopping, we were looking for a pick-me-up in a relaxed atmosphere. The hostess Yulia went out of her way to seat us in a quieter section of the bar, and even gave us a rather generously spaced booth where we could set down our many bags. We were so grateful! Our server Melissa was no less attentive and professional. She knows the menu by heart and guided us to the right choices. Highly recommend the paloma (pictured), the seasonal sliders, the caviar potato bites, and the lemongrass mousse. Melissa is one of those rare servers who shows up just at the right moments: she kept our water and tea perpetually full, checked in with us about our food, and made some pleasant small talk. A truly wonderful experience and we hope to be back soon.
Uptempo vibe. Staff super nice. Adam behind the bar was friendly and playful banter. Cool atmosphere. Outdoor space too. Which was chic as you can see in the pics.
